The NITROMAX filter medium is in the form of sachets filled with ion exchange resin. The practical shape of the sachet is easy to use and replace. It is used for the chemical absorption of nitrogen compounds dissolved in water. It binds toxic nitrogen compounds that fish produce, which improves water parameters and effectively prevents algae growth. NitroMAX Pro is efficient and extremely effective.

What is NitroMAX Pro?
NitroMAX Pro is used for chemical water filtration in freshwater aquariums, paludariums and terrarium tanks. It is in the form of sachets filled with a specially selected ion exchange resin that is stabilised with a filler. It is used for chemical absorption, nitrogen compounds dissolved in water are one of the main reasons behind the deterioration in the health of fish and the development of stressful algae in the aquarium.

How does NitroMAX Pro work?
The unique ion-exchange resin used in NitroMAX Pro has excellent absorption properties. As a result, it absorbs toxic nitrogen compounds that are dissolved in it. Captures nitrite and nitrate ions from the water. It protects fish from harmful nitrogenous substances and allows the size and frequency of water changes to be limited. Particularly effective in preventing algae growth.

Where and when does NitroMAX Pro work?
It works perfectly as a filter bed in canister filters, overflow filters, internal filters with chambers for loose powder (e.g. TURBOFILTER) as well as in collecting trays and filter chimneys. It is especially recommended for tanks with large fish and a large number of fish where problems with excessive levels of nitrogen compounds in the water arise. Using NitroMAX Pro allows you to limit the size and frequency of water changes and maintain correct and safe fish water parameters in the tank.

A bag is used for filtration in approx. 70-litre aquariums for approx. 30 days. One pack of NitroMAX Pro contains 3 sachets with a capacity of 0.1 litres each.

How should I use NitroMAX Pro?
NitroMAX Pro is ready to use straight away and does not require flushing or other additional activities. The contents of the package should be placed in the filter basket or in the filter chamber. For best results, it is recommended that the NitroMAX Pro cartridge be placed behind the mechanical and biological filter cartridges.

NitroMAX Pro is recommended for AQUAEL filters: UNIMAX, MIDIKANI 800, MINIKANI 80, MINIKANI 120, ASAP and VERSAMAX.

How long does NitroMAX Pro work?
To get the best filter results, it should be replaced at least every 4 weeks.
