The MultiLux LED lighting system of the Rio 290 LED allows you to work comfortably in the aquarium even when the lighting is switched on. The ultrasonically welded light unit is 100% waterproof.

The Rio 290 LED is equipped with a powerful Bioflow L filter for optimum filtration. This internal filter combines efficiency with safety and forms the core of the Juwel aquarium. Based on the principle "The water stays in the aquarium", it is the safest way to filter an aquarium. The Bioflow L is equipped with five high-performance filter media and a quiet, powerful Eccoflow 1000 circulation pump.

The Juwel AquaHeat Pro 300 W adjustable heater maintains the right temperature in the Rio 290 LED aquarium. Thanks to the high-quality silver contacts, the adjustable heater meets the highest demands.

The separately available optional base cabinet serves as a secure base for your aquarium. The base cabinet is designed to match the aquarium and is available in the same colours as the aquarium. Plus, it is easy to assemble and provides plenty of space to store accessories.
