These scratch-resistant Algae Pads for glass and acrylic surfaces are made of melamine foam and use a special micro-abrasive technology to eliminate algae from the inner walls of an aquarium. The pads are chemically inert and do not require the use of soaps or other cleaning agents that could harm aquarium inhabitants.

The pads are neutral white in colour to make algae more visible and to make it easier to identify areas that have already been cleaned.
