The Olibetta natural Rio Negro gravel is not only decorative, but it also acts as a gigantic biological filter for a biological balance in the aquarium. Here, bacteria can work optimally.

The round shape of the gravel grains minimizes the risk of injury to your aquarium dwellers. The somewhat coarser grain size of 2.0-3.0 mm goes very well with a floor washer or underfloor heating. This natural gravel is ideal for small community aquariums, but also for larger aquariums with large inhabitants. Often, large fish and invertebrates are blessed with an active metabolism and therefore need a substrate that can be kept clean. The natural gravel should be rinsed briefly with cold water before use to remove transport-related abrasion.
