With Oase AquaActiv BioKick Fresh you can turbocharger your pond filter start!
This unique preparation contains billions of high-performance bacteria that will colonise your filter within a very short time. These tiny helpers work tirelessly to break down pollutants such as nitrite, nitrate, ammonium and ammonia in your pond water to ensure clean and clear water.

BioKick Fresh consists of two components that need to be mixed shortly before use. Within just 20 minutes, this forms a highly concentrated bacterial solution that becomes active immediately. The bacteria quickly colonise your filter sponges so your filter will reach its full capacity within just two weeks!

Application:

• AquaActiv Biokick Fresh by Oase consists of two components - dry bacteria and a nutrient solution. These should be mixed shortly before use.
• The bacteria concentrate is ready within 20 minutes.
• Subsequent application is not necessary.
• 450 ml nutrient solution and 50 g bacteria concentrate are adequate for ponds with a maximum volume of 10 m³.
• It is also possible to use only a portion of the cultures and the nutrient solution and mix them in a separate container.

Note:

• Particularly suitable for ponds lightly stocked with fish.
• The optimum time to use is in spring and when restarting.
• The manufacturer recommends switching off the UVC lamp of your pre-clarifier for 10-14 days after adding BioKick Fresh, as the UVC radiation could damage the filter bacteria. The pond filter can continue to run normally.
• Furthermore, the filter bacteria should only be used once the water temperature has stabilised at 8°C.
