Description
The MW11 Total Chlorine Photometer is a digital measuring device for reliably determining the total chlorine content in aquariums, aquaculture, laboratories as well as other water treatment applications. The small device with an ergonomic design has an easy-to-read LCD display. In contrast to inaccurate readings with test strips, the values with this digital photometer are not determined visually and therefore result in precise measurements.
The device is an adaptation of the USEPA method 330.5. The reaction between the chlorine and the reagent causes the sample to turn slightly pink.
The Total Chlorine Photometer runs on one AAA battery (1.5V). The device switches itself off automatically after 2 minutes of non-use to save battery life. No calibration is required.
Application:
Add the reagent to the glass cuvette and get a digital reading with an accuracy of ± 0.03 ppm ± 3% at 25 °C* within minutes.
