The correct water values in the aquarium depend on the source water, the fish stock and the existing plants. Even if the water looks clear, it can be stressed. Adverse values can cause diseases or algae in the aquarium. For a healthy aquarium with near-natural conditions, regular monitoring and adjustment of the water values is important.

Download the free JBL ProScan app, follow the instructions in the app, dip test strips into the aquarium, place it on the JBL colour chart for analysis, scan the colour chart, determine values, receive specific solution recommendations and hints.

The JBL ProScan app is available in the following languages: de, en, fr, nl, es, it, pt, ru, cs, pl, tr and ja.

Note: The test strip is only suitable for one measurement at a time. Repeated scanning of the strip will result in different values as the strip continues to respond.

When performing the "Aquarium Freshwater" and "Water" analysis, the current CO2 content in the water is calculated as a bonus. Coordinated with the results of the analysis in the areas of "aquarium freshwater" and "garden pond", specific solution recommendations and instructions are given which guide JBL products to support the ideal/optimal water values. The test values are displayed as numerical values and additionally evaluated. The app is compatible with iPhone and iPad: Requires iOs 7.0 or later, Android version 4.0 or higher, and a camera with auto-focus.

Tip
In the JBL online laboratory, the measured values can be analysed free of charge and recommendations can also be viewed.
