Exo Terra Grasshoppers are true treats! The grasshoppers are cooked and then canned - this special method of preservation ensures that none of the flavour or aroma is lost. Cooking them also offers other advantages - the nutritional content is not changed at all. In fact, the cooked insects have the same nutritional values as live ones but are much easier to digest because they are softened. Furthermore, collagenous protein compounds are broken down during cooking, making them easier for terrarium animals to absorb. Feeding recommendation:

Feed Exo Terra Grasshoppers either as part of the diet or as a treat 2-3 times per week. Any uneaten food should be removed and discarded after 24 hours.
