Eheim TORF Pellets with Mesh Bag, 1 L

The EHEIM TORF pellets consist of naturally acidic, specially treated peat. This chemically effective filter peat lowers the pH value and reduces water hardness. Also rich in valuable substances such as humic substances and trace elements (therefore do not wash out). The pH value of the water is lowered (acidified) by the peat pellets and thus the water hardness is reduced. However, the pellets should only be used if the pH (required for the fish species) is exceeded. Peat filtering is particularly suitable for tropical clear to black water.

Note:

• Peat expands in the water. So water separately before use.
• Do not wash out pellets, otherwise, valuable substances will be lost
• Replace after 3-6 weeks
• Do not use simultaneously with activated carbon
• Suitable for freshwater only
