Description
A balanced feed is the be-all and end-all in breeding and keeping invertebrates. Only if they are optimally and completely supplied with all the necessary vitamins, minerals and nutrients do they grow in a balanced way, develop more beautiful colours and show a higher willingness to reproduce.
The Dennerle Shrimp King Color is a food granulate with which you can enhance the colours of your red, orange and yellow shrimp. The feed is sinkable and water-stable and consists of 100% natural ingredients. Yellow, orange and red shrimp cannot form the dyes that make them attractive to the body, but have to take them in with food. These dyes, so-called carotenoids, are mainly found in algae, flowers, fruits or leafy greens. Shrimps and crayfish convert carotenoids into their own dyes, especially astaxanthin, which forms a molecular link with the protein beta-crustacyanine. These molecular compounds are stored in special colour cells and result in the species-specific colouring of the shrimp.
The situation for shrimps is similar to that of the well-known pink flamingos: If these birds eat small carotenoid-rich crustaceans such as Artemia, their plumage turns pink due to the carotenoids or astaxanthine they contain. If, on the other hand, your food does not contain any natural dyes, they lose their natural colours and turn white.
Shrimp King Color contains plenty of natural dyes from a wide range of high-quality ingredients, such as microalgae, crustaceans, tagetes flowers, peppers, carrots and decapsulated artemia eggs. If you feed it regularly, you are laying the perfect basis for the full development of the species-specific colours! You can use Shrimp King Color particularly well with these types of shrimp: Red Sakura, Sakura Orange, Blue Pearls, Yellow Fire, Black Tiger Prawns and Blue Tiger Prawns.
High-quality proteins and essential amino acids from aquatic feed animals serve as carriers for the natural colour enhancers. They ensure balanced growth. Vitamins and vital substances from various types of algae and vegetables serve as “lubricants” for a functioning metabolism and a strong immune system. Incidentally, Shrimp King Color is not guaranteed to contain artificial colours and preservatives or fish meal!
Recommendation
Feed your animals 1 knife tip for 20 shrimps. Remove leftover food after 24 hours so that it does not linger in the aquarium.
