Description
The XL size Lagenandra meeboldii red impresses with its beautiful red hues which add a highlight to your underwater paradise. It is member of the Lagenandra genus which is closely related to the popular Cryptocorynes and colonises similar habitats. In contrast to many other Lagenandra species, this variety is extremely robust and is ideal for aquariums.
Like its relatives, the Anubias, this plant develops a strong rhizome, but unlike the Anubias, this should not be attached to a solid surface but planted in the substrate. There it grows well and thrives, especially when planted in a bright spot, and bears magnificent leaves in various shades of red and reddish brown.
