Hygrophila corymbosa is the ideal choice for the background of your aquarium. This stem plant is suitable for beginners. Thanks to its rapid growth, it absorbs excess nutrients in the water and thus deprives algae of their food source. Growing up to a height of up to 50 cm, it adds impressive dimensions to your aquascape. The plant does well in both high and medium light and tolerates water hardness from very soft to very hard.

To optimise growth, cut back the shoots as soon as they reach the water surface. A tiered arrangement of the stems ensures a gorgeous harmonious look.
