Description
JBL ArtemioSal is a special salt for the production of a breeding solution for the successful breeding of Artemia nauplii. JBL ArtemioSal contains microalgae as a primary feed and a buffer system to maintain optimal pH. This increases the hatching rate of nauplii. JBL ArtemioSal is soluble and easy to use. The addition of Artemia eggs is necessary. (These are sold separately.) The 230g salt is sufficient for breeding solutions of 7 litres. Thanks to the almost airtight lockable salt box moisture penetration is prevented. Make sure that the JBL ArtemioSal does not clump together. Well sealed, the salt is thus always ready for use.
Fish love a varied diet! In the case of one-sided fish feeding, it can lead in the long run to deficiency symptoms, diseases and depletion of the organs. When using live food, there is a risk of introducing unwanted bacteria and parasites into the aquarium.
The production of your own live food brings with it some advantages:
- Parasite-free
- High in fibre
- Promotes the hunting drive of the fish
- Increases spawning readiness
- Simple, fast and convenient
- Cheap alternative to frozen food
- Add salt to the water
- Add Artemia eggs in salted water
- Wait until the brine shrimp hatch
- Drain through a sieve
- Ready for feeding
If you want to cultivate Artemia eggs, the Artemia eggs must be added to salt water. ArtemioSal was designed for the production of this salt water. These hatch the small Artemia, which can then be fed as a perfect food to your aquarium fish. The microalgae contained in the salt mixture serve the newly hatched brine shrimp as food.
Application:
Stir 2 level measuring spoons (included in delivery) into 0.5 l of water, the culture solution is ready for use after complete dissolution.
