Description
This North American Eleocharis has a bright grassy green colour and reaches a height of 20 to 40 cm. It is characterised by its undemanding and low-maintenance qualities. The individual stems have a diameter of only a few millimetres.
The open growth habit is retained as it grows, making it ideal as a background plant. Its open growth habit also makes it suitable to be placed in clusters in the foreground or mid-ground of aquariums. This creates an impressive effect of depth and adds perspective.
The plant reproduces by runners which should occasionally be removed and replanted elsewhere.
