Tropic Marin NP-BACTO-BALANCE, 1000 ml

NP-Bacto-Balance is a mixture of selected organic carbon compounds and inorganic nutrients. This combination promotes the incorporation of nitrate and phosphate into additional biomass, thereby lowering nitrate and phosphate levels. This is extremely important for the health and development of corals and sponges in reef aquariums! As these nutrient levels are lowered, an optimal and stable nitrate-to-phosphate ratio is established.

Application and dosage:

The dosage depends on the age of the aquarium:

• new and young tanks (0-1 year): no more than 0.25 ml/100 L of aquarium water daily
• tanks of medium age (1-2 years): up to 0.5 ml/100 L aquarium water daily
• mature and older tanks (from 2 years): 0.5-1 ml/100 L aquarium water daily

Add NP-Bacto-Balance to the part of the aquarium with a current so that the concentrate gets evenly distributed.

IMPORTANT: Do not exceed a dose of 1 ml/100 L of aquarium water!

Note:

Before you start using NP-Bacto-Balance, you should measure the phosphate levels in your aquarium water. The ideal value is between 0.02 and 0.1 mg/L. If the values are too high, use Tropic Marin Elimi-NP.
