Description

The Tetra WaterTest Set is a small water test set with the necessary accessories for determining your own water values in the aquarium and tap water.

Water is shaped by its environment and is different everywhere due to various influences. Pure rainwater already absorbs environmental pollutants in the atmosphere. As it seeps into the ground, it becomes groundwater and its chemical composition changes again. Harmful substances for fish and other aquatic organisms can also be contained in drinking water, such as e.g. chlorine or copper. It is therefore important to make tap water suitable for fish with a water treatment agent. The water quality in aquariums or ponds changes due to biological and chemical processes. In order to ensure the best possible environmental conditions for fish, it is advisable to test the water values regularly every week. In special situations, e.g. When setting up the aquarium or when new fish are to be placed in the aquarium or garden pond, they should even be checked daily. All Tetra products are simple, very precise and use professional methods for determining the chemical water values. They are available for all important water values.

There is no one-size-fits-all recipe for achieving ideal water parameters because every aquarium and garden pond represents a unique habitat. It is therefore recommended to seek advice on which water values are optimal for your fish, aquatic life and plants.

Our expert Oliver Knott recommends :

With the Tetra WaterTest Set, you get quick and precise certainty about your water values!
