Description
Tetra Betta is a staple food in flake form for fighting fish and other labyrinth fish in freshwater aquariums.
The popular food in flake form is particularly suitable for Betta splendens and other labyrinth fish. The mini flakes provide the ideal amount of proteins thanks to the addition of molluscs, crustaceans and krill, thus promoting growth and the development of impressive fins. Freeze-dried krill as a natural colour enhancer improves the development of vibrant colours. Tetra Betta contains no colourants or added preservatives.
The flakes contain all essential nutrients, vitamins and trace elements and, the slowly sinking behaviour is suited to the feeding behaviour of the fish. In contrast to frozen food, the risk of introducing diseases caused by pathogens is reduced to zero. Tetra Betta promotes well-being, natural colours and growth. Stabilised vitamin C supports normal defences, promotes healthy growth and thus prevents nutritient deficiencies.
Feeding recommendation
- Tetra Betta is a staple food in flake form and should be fed at least 2-3 times a day in small portions that the fish can consume within a few minutes.
- Can be supplemented with treats such as Tetra Delica 2-3 times a week.
- The best-before date on the packaging indicates the time until which the food remains unspoilt when unopened and stored properly.
- Once opened, it should be used up within 3 months, as moisture, air and light break down the nutrients in the food and impair the supply of vital nutrients.
Oliver Knott recommends:
Tetra Betta food caters to the special needs of fighting fish and labyrinthine fish, to ensure they are optimally nourished thanks to the flakes that float and slowly sink.
