Tetra Aquatic Compost, 8L

Tetra Aquatic Compost is a pond floor mix of natural clay and white peat. The compost serves as the perfect nutrient base for pond plants. This encourages growth and the pond plants become stronger.

Dosage:

Place a burlap cloth or a similar material in your plant basket and fill it half full with Tetra Pond AquaticCompost. Press the earth firmly to avoid air pockets. Remove possible plant weights or transport packaging. Place the plant in the basket and hold it so that the bottom of the buds is level with the edge of the basket. If necessary, shorten the plant roots to avoid kinking the roots, which could affect plant growth. Fill the basket with pond soil up to approx. 2.5 cm from the edge. Press the pond soil tightly and refill if necessary. Place a 2.5 cm thick layer of washed, lime-free gravel on the earth to prevent the fish from churning up the earth. Remove any protruding burlap or similar material and water the plants thoroughly before placing them in the pond. Lower the plants slowly into the pond so as not to damage them.
