Description

- For the creation and permanent maintenance of species-appropriate water conditions
- For immediate help in case of difficulties

Sera Super Peat enables natural tropical soft water in freshwater aquariums. The filter medium permanently stabilises a slightly acidic pH and gently reduces water hardness. In the long term, humic acids and fulvic acids are released, natural chelate binders bind toxic heavy metals and thus ensure an optimal water climate. A slightly acidic water value has a prophylactic effect against spawning and germs and has a protective effect on the mucous membrane. Due to the colouring of the water, there is natural algae prophylaxis through light filtering. The slightly amber-coloured colouring reinforces the stress-reducing effect and thus ensures a species-appropriate black water effect for tropical aquariums.

The natural habitat of fish, such as discus fish or scalars also of neon fish, is characterised by very soft, rather acidic and often dark-coloured water., These so-called black water conditions can be achieved easily and long-term with Sera Super Peat.

The functional granulate made from natural black peat, simply inserted into the filter, permanently lowers the carbonate hardness and stabilises the pH in the slightly acidic range. In addition, valuable humic and fulvic acids are continuously released.

Sera super peat is suitable in combination with previously applied sera KH / pH-minus.

Range:
