Sera pH / KH-Minus, 5L

Sera pH / KH-minus is a liquid water conditioner that lowers both the carbonate hardness and the pH value in the freshwater aquarium and is available in various containers.

Sera pH / KH-minus lowers the pH and the KH value in the freshwater aquarium, the carbonate hardness is adjusted and the pH value is regulated. This leads to species-appropriate and slightly acidic water, similar to the habitat of most ornamental fish.
Some types of fish, such as discus and scalars, are adapted to very soft water and require these conditions especially for reproduction. But even when other fish species are kept, the water may have too high a carbonate hardness (KH) or the pH value may have increased too much due to natural metabolic products. In such cases, sera pH / KH-minus helps quickly and effectively. The pH value and the carbonate hardness are precisely reduced and gently regulated. In this way, species-appropriate husbandry conditions are created that are conducive to the vitality and well-being of your fish.

Tip:
To permanently maintain tropical soft water conditions, the KH should be set to 4 ° dKH with sera pH / KH-minus and then insert Sera super peat in the filter.

Dosage:
To reduce the KH by ° DKH, add 5 ml sera pH / KH-minus to 20 litres of water daily.

To prepare the application of sera super peat

Repeat the dosage daily until the desired result. Do not use more than twice the dose per day as sudden changes in carbohydrates by more than two degrees are not tolerated by all fish. The water should be well aerated during use. The KH should not be reduced below 3 ° dKH, otherwise, there is a risk of an acid spike. The KH and pH should be measured before and after each application.
