Sera Catfish-Tabs XXL are a staple food in the form of large bottom tablets for larger catfish (e.g. plecos) and other bottom fish in freshwater aquariums and in various containers.

Catfish are generally rather shy aquarium inhabitants, some of which only eat at night. They usually look for their food near the ground. But this is where the similarities end: While some are searching for their food in the ground, others slowly suck their food from a surface. With the Viformo catfish food, catfish chips and tabs, Sera provides products that differ significantly in content and structure and thus optimally meet the needs of both groups.

Sera Catfish-Tabs XXl are a staple food made from large bottom tablets for larger fish (e.g. plecos) and other bottom-dwelling fish. The tabs can also be attached to the aquarium glass. This type of feeding offers fascinating observation options for a wide variety of ornamental fish. The high spirulina content (21%) with many mineral and vital substances promotes digestion, colour development and health. Since the tabs are dimensionally stable for a long time, they allow slow eating without polluting the water.

Composition:
Spirulina (21%), fish meal, wheat flour, wheat glue, wheat germ, brewer's yeast, Ca caseinate, fish oil (49% of which are omega fatty acids), mannan-oligosaccharides (0.4%), herbs, nettle, alfalfa, parsley, seaweed, Bell pepper, spinach, carrots, green-lipped mussel, Haematococcus algae, garlic.

Feeding recommendation:
Feed Sera Catfish tabs XXL 1-2 times a day in as small amounts as the animals can eat in 24 hours. If you still see food residues after a day, you should vacuum them up and reduce the amount of feed the next time you feed them. Once opened, the food tin should always be tightly closed and used up within a few months to prevent loss of freshness.

Tip:
Regularly put on a fasting day to boost the animals' metabolism and to promote behaviour that is appropriate for the species through active foraging. The main food can be supplemented with other Sera foods to optimally alternate the daily menu of the fish.
