Seachem ph Alert

pH Alert® is an intelligent device that continuously monitors the pH values ​​in freshwater aquariums. The compact device has a smart sensor that reversibly changes its colour from yellow to orange to red thus indicating changes in the pH value between 5.4 and 8.0.

No chemicals or testing procedures are required for pH Alert®. When using it for the first time, you should expect a response time of around 30 minutes. Changes in the values will then be registered after just 2 minutes.

Recommended use:

Place pH Alert® in a clearly visible location in your freshwater aquarium. Adjust the sensor colour to the pH value on the colour wheel.

Tips for care:

• No special care is required. It is recommended to remove algae regularly from the device with a clean, soft material.
• Do not touch the sensor with your fingers as skin oils could damage it.
• The sensor does not need to be cleaned. Cleaning products, soap, etc. could permanently discolour it.
• For maximum accuracy, take the reading in natural or simulated daylight.
• If the sensor colour fades, it is time to replace pH Alert®.
