Seachem Flourite Black Sand, 7 kg

Flourite® Black Sand is a natural black sand for planted aquariums. The natural product is best used as the sole substrate but can also be used in combination with other substrates. It does not affect the pH value of the water as it is not chemically treated or coated. Plus, it never needs to be replaced.

Tip: Modifiers such as laterite are not needed when using Flourite® Black Sand.

Application recommendations:

Although Flourite® Black Sand is pre-washed, it should be washed again before use to remove any dust caused by abrasion during transport.

After the substrate is placed in the aquarium, take care to introduce water slowly to the tank so as not to stir it up. Seachem recommends introducing water to your aquarium by adding water to a bowl placed on the sand and letting it gently overflow. Slight cloudiness initially is normal and not a cause for concern. This can be easily fixed by means of mechanical filtering such as filter floss. Use Seachem Clarity™ to accelerate the clarification process.
