Microbe-Lift Basic 2 - Magnesium, 500 g

This specially developed additive based on high-purity magnesium chloride hexahydrate is suitable for all saltwater aquariums and promotes the healthy growth of invertebrates and corals by adjusting the magnesium content.

Application and dosage:

• As a stock solution (1 litre): Take 419 g of Basic Magnesium in a measuring cup and fill it to 1 litre mark with osmosis water. Adding 10 ml of this stock solution to 100 L of aquarium water increases the magnesium content by around 5 mg / L.
• As a concentrate (1 litre): Take 500 g of Basic Magnesium in a measuring cup and fill it up to 1 litre mark with osmosis water. Adding 17 ml of this stock solution to 100 L of aquarium water increases the magnesium content by around 10 mg / L.
• Direct addition: Add 8.5 g of Basic Magnesium to 100 L of water directly in your sump tank. This increases the magnesium content by around 10 mg / L.

Please note the following:

• The amount to be added daily depends on consumption. Regularly checking the carbonate hardness in your aquarium is therefore important.
• For optimal basic care of your corals, use Basic 2 Magnesium along with the Basic series from Microbe-Lift.
• Basic 2 Magnesium is also suitable for the original balling method.
• The optimal magnesium content is 1350 mg / L.
