JBL FilterBoost, 25 g

JBL FilterBoost are specially grown bacteria on a mineral granulate as a carrier material. These optimise the filter performance and extend the cleaning intervals of filters in fresh and saltwater aquariums of fish, water turtles and shrimps. JBL FilterBoost is also suitable for new installations, water changes and fish diseases.

The special pure bacteria cultures ensure active sludge degradation in the filter. Clogging of the filter material with mucus and other organic deposits is thus prevented and the cleaning interval and the service life are extended. The bacteria-activated granulate is sufficient for a filter volume of 5-6 litres and is placed in the prefilter or first part of the filter material of the internal or external filter.

JBL FilterBoost activates cleaned filters and filters after the use of medication. It ensures clean water and the rapid breakdown of ammonium/ammonia and nitrite. This bacterial starter contains highly active, useful live bacteria that quickly break down pollutants, fish excretions and other waste and slow filter silting up. A stable equilibrium in the aquarium contributes significantly to the health of the well-kept fish, especially sensitive occupants benefit from less fluctuations. JBL FilterStart reduces fish losses due to fluctuating water parameters and creates a biotope-friendly environment.

Water purifiers should always be used one hour before using bacterial starters.

Application
Can be used in all filters with a multi-layer filter mass structure. Not applicable to internal filters with foam cartridges. Distribute the required amount of JBL FilterBoost granulate as close as possible to the water influence of the filter between 2-3 layers of filter material. Fill in new granulate when cleaning the filter.
