JBL Carbomec Ultra Superactive Carbon, 400 g

The JBL Carbomec ultra is a super active and pelletised, highly active filter carbon for use in filter systems and is used for the quick removal of residues and discolouration in fresh and saltwater aquariums.

Fine filtering
Carbomec ultra is a highly active pelletized filter carbon for removing medication residues, water discolouration and high-molecular organic contaminants from freshwater aquariums. Carbomec ultra is set to pH 8 and therefore ideally suited for use in the pH range 7.5 to 8.5.

Safe use
Carbomec ultra does not release algae-promoting phosphates into the water and does not increase the conductivity. The activated carbon does not release any bound substances. Carbomec ultra is particularly suitable for use in Malawi and Tanganyika aquariums. Activated carbon should not be used permanently and should be replaced regularly.

Simple application
The JBL Carbomec ultra activated carbon is poured into the universal filter bag and rinsed several times under warm water, then rinsed with cold water. The universal bag with the coal is embedded in the filter and is immediately ready for use.
