The Fluval Bug Bites algae chips contain insects and are therefore specially tailored to the natural eating behaviour of fish. In addition, vitamins, minerals and other trace nutrients have been added, which are essential for the health and vitality of the fish.

The Bug Bites algae chips are ideal for all aquarium dwellers (plecos, catfish, loaches, corydoras, etc.) who eat on the bottom. They contain nutrient-rich spirulina and kelp as well as high-quality insect protein for good digestibility and optimal well-being, growth and the splendour of the fish's colours. The texture of this food gives your bottom-eating fish the time they need to leisurely grind their food.

Feeding recommendation:
Feed the amount that the fish can eat within two minutes, two to three times a day. We also recommend regular water tests to avoid water quality problems that can result from overfeeding.

Composition:
Insect meal (mealworm meal 15%, black soldier fly larvae 10%), wheat flour, wheat gluten, wheat germ, alfalfa, spirulina, hydrolyzed fish protein, kelp (5%), hydrolyzed shrimp protein, spinach (5%), activated charcoal.

Omega-3 & -6 fatty acids are naturally contained in the meal of the black soldier fly larvae.
