Exo Terra Sonoran Ocher Stone Desert is a natural soil substrate for creating desert and savanna landscapes in terrariums. Made up of sand, granite and clay, the substrate contains no added chemicals or dyes. It is a realistic replica of a desert floor both in terms of texture and colour.

The substrate is ideal for forming rocks, tunnels and caves. It holds its shape and does not collapse once dried. The substrate, which conducts heat, helps to regulate the body temperature of desert-dwelling reptiles. Furthermore, it offers them places to hide as well as bask.
