Exo Terra's Glass Terrarium is suitable for keeping a variety of reptiles and amphibians while creating a gorgeous terrarium landscape and the perfect habitat for them. The front side of the terrarium has a tall front window which allows you to place high layers of substrate on the floor. A deep substrate layer stimulates the natural digging behaviour of terrarium dwellers. The high front window and the waterproof floor also allow the terrarium to be filled with water up to the ventilation holes. Thus you can create desert as well as rainforest landscapes. The raised base frame of the terrarium enables the installation of heat cables and substrate heaters to create warm and cool spots, thus ensuring ideal temperatures in the terrarium.

The terrarium features two separate front doors which can be independently opened. The sturdy doors give you easier access for feeding or cleaning while ensuring that your terrarium dwellers do not escape. A safety lock prevents the doors from being accidentally opened. The ventilation holes under the front doors and the cover made of fine stainless steel mesh ensure heat exchange as well as a constant supply of fresh air. This keeps condensation from building up on the glass panes while allowing heat retention in desert terrariums and optimal humidity levels in tropical terrariums. The mesh cover is very easy to remove for cleaning purposes and can be firmly reattached after cleaning with four latches. There are 5 resealable inlets for cables and hoses on the cover to prevent a tangled mess of cables and tubing while also preventing smaller reptiles or insects from escaping.

The robust full glass terrarium comes with a realistic-looking rock wall on the back. This is the perfect surface for terrarium dwellers to climb and play on whilst creating a natural backdrop for your terrarium landscape.
