The Eheim KARBON carbon filter is ideally suited for clear aquarium water, especially for new installations.

EHEIM KARBON is particularly suitable for clarifying the water during the running-in phase of the aquarium. In particular, chlorine from tap water and other chemical substances that can get into the aquarium when newly installed are reliably deposited.
EHEIM KARBON is only used for a short time, approx. 4 weeks, in the layer structure according to the mechanical filter mass (e.g. EHEIM MECH or MECHpro) and the biological one (e.g. EHEIM SUBSTRATpro).
