Dennerle Snail Catcher

The Snailcatcher is a pull-out device for collecting unwanted snails in the aquarium.

Due to various factors, snails can appear explosively in the aquarium and disrupt the overall picture. Even if snails serve well as algae and residue destroyers in the aquarium, too many of them are often "too much of a good thing". Instead of destroying them chemically, which on the one hand does not necessarily indicate animal friendliness, the aquarium water can even tip over dangerously due to the many deceased snails.

With the Snailcatcher you can easily and safely collect these snails and transfer them to a new home. The extendable handle with a length of 31 cm saves you from wet hands! Simply pull the snail catcher along the aquarium glass, the snails are then conveyed through the roller into the catch container, from where you can remove them. Keep in mind that you should do this regularly, as new snail babies hatch from the countless small clutches over time and multiply again.
