Dennerle Carbo Bio Start 60

Carbo Bio Start 60 by Dennerle is the perfect CO₂ fertilisation system for aquariums with a capacity of up to 60 litres. It is easy to operate and starts producing CO₂ within 24-48 hours. A sturdy CO₂ hose and a specially designed CO₂ Mini-Topper ensure that the CO₂ produced is efficiently dissolved in the aquarium water. Optionally, the system can also be connected to a Dennerle Corner Filter 40 or 60 with the help of a CO₂ Injector.

Carbon: The foundation for healthy plant growth
Plants are made up of almost 50% carbon. CO₂ is a crucial nutrient necessary for photosynthesis during which plants produce sugars and release oxygen. In many aquariums, the natural CO₂ level is too low resulting in slow plant growth, algae problems and low oxygen levels. Regular addition of CO₂ creates the ideal conditions for healthy plant growth, improves water quality and prevents algae growth.

CO2 production
Carbo Bio Start 60 uses an all-natural bio-reaction in combination with CO₂ Constant-Gel to ensure almost constant CO₂ production per filling for at least 40 days. In contrast, CO₂ production in conventional systems that use household sugar is often irregular which can lead to problems.
