Description
Echinodorus cordifolius Harbich Red is a very robust plant that is a little smaller than the original variety. The Harbich Red cultivar name is derived from the leaves that are red when new and turn green over time.
Echinodorus cordifolius Harbich Red grows to a height of up to 40 cm, making it a perfect plant for the middle. Its emersed leaves are rounded in shape and have hairy petioles. The submersed leaves are a little narrower but very firm. The plant develops many adventitious plants on the flower stalk which grow especially well in open aquarium tanks.
