Description
The moss balls Aegagropila linnaei grow extremely slowly and can be found all over the world. In some lakes, these enchanting structures form entire carpets that are very flat. Aegagropila linnaei are not aquarium plants, but balls of algae. These balls are very popular as decorative additions to aquariums. Shrimp tank owners are especially enthusiastic about these green balls: the little shrimp like to sit on them and search the balls for food - activity and wellness at the same time!
Tip: The moss ball should be turned regularly in the aquarium to keep it round. In the wild, this happened naturally due to flowing water.
