Chihiros Stainless Steel Stand

The coveted stainless steel stands for Chihiro's LED systems series A can be screwed to the glass walls - up to 11 mm wall thickness - of open tanks in no time thanks to included plexiglass brackets and screws. Ideal for tanks of different sizes. The height can be flexibly determined, for example to leave room for ambitious plants that protrude above the water surface.

There are two installation options, as the brackets have a short and a long side:

Long part positioned vertically: If the long part of the bracket is fixed vertically and the short part horizontally, you can place the lamp up to 20 cm above the edge of the tank. This also gives you 5 cm of clearance on each side. You can therefore also install the lamp over tanks that are up to 10 cm wider than the lamp.

Short part positioned vertically: If the short part of the bracket is fixed vertically and the long part horizontally, you can place the lamp up to 9 cm above the edge of the tank. At the same time, the tank may be up to 30 cm wider than the lamp is long.

Attention, deformation: With long lamps of 60 cm or more, please be aware of the weight of the lamps, as it can lead to deformation of the stainless steel bracket, so plan the height with a maximum of 10 cm from the edge of the tank. This problem should not occur with shorter lamps. Please note that shorter lamps may not illuminate wider tanks optimally.
