AquaArt Eleocharis acicularis 'Mini'

Eleocharis acicularis or mini needle rush is one of the "safe" ground covers, despite its high light requirements! It grows rather slowly into a dense, grass-like carpet, but needs little or no care. The 3 to 5 cm tall plant can be used to create great foregrounds and deep layouts - ideal for lush underwater gardens!

• Light requirements: Good to intense, never shade
• Optimum temperature: 18 to 27°C
• Water values: Very soft to medium-hard
• pH value: 5 to 7, tolerant
• CO2 and nutrient addition: Absolutely
• Propagation: Runners, division, separation of daughter plants
• Emersed growth: Yes

Note: Cups are grown in the laboratory. Aquatic plants from the so-called in vitro culture are grown sterilely. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimps and can be used immediately. With in vitro plants there are no stowaways such as snails or parasites, and pesticides are also completely avoided.
