If you have strong lighting above your well-planted aquarium or aquascape and you only care for a few fish in it or if you feed it sparingly, it can happen that your plants do not receive enough macronutrients and therefore grow poorly.

With the Aqua Rebell GH Boost N you supply your aquarium in a targeted and effective manner with the important plant nutrients nitrogen, magnesium and calcium in liquid form. This allows your plants to make use of an abundant supply of nutrients and they start to grow healthy again - with a booster effect. This liquid fertiliser contains no potassium and no phosphate.

If there are gaps in the nutrient supply to the aquarium plants, the algae benefit. A lack of nitrate, in particular, can lead to an increased occurrence of thread algae. With a good supply of nutrients, you can effectively prevent algae pests.

We generally recommend a weekly water change of 25% to 50% in fertilised aquariums. Since every aquarium reacts differently, the dosage recommendation is just that - a recommendation. Please adjust the amount of fertiliser to what your aquatic plants actually consume. This will prevent high nitrate concentrations from accumulating in your aquarium. Especially in the beginning, you should measure the nitrate value every now and then.

Please note that you should supplement the Aqua Rebell Advanced GH Boost N liquid fertiliser for the aquarium with a micronutrient fertiliser (full iron fertiliser) such as Aqua Rebell Micro Basic Iron, because your plants need micronutrients as well as macronutrients.
