Description
The very easy to maintain Microsorum pteropus 'Narrow' comes from Asia. The epiphyte, which grows to a height of 15 to approx. 35 cm, is perfect for binding to roots or stones in the middle ground and tolerates soft to hard water.
The Java fern Microsorum pteropus 'Narrow' is a cultivated form of the Java fern from the jungle streams of Southeast Asia. It is characterised by pretty leaf tips and otherwise looks like normal Java fern - also medium green and with relatively upright leaves that sit on a rhizome.
Java fern Microsorum pteropus 'Narrow' is robust and fairly easy to care for. It also manages very well in low-tech aquariums with little light and does not need CO2 fertilisation.
